“What I feel is unique to Lighthouse International is that everyone in the Lighthouse International team is being mentored in order to maintain the integrity of our work. Through my 9 years of being involved full-time at Lighthouse International Group, I have been supported through a number of personal and professional challenges. The most notable being the loss of my mum last year. I had the most incredible support through this time from my mentor and those around me. This was not an isolated case; every member of the team has access to incredible and unprecedented levels of support to handle challenges in all aspects of their lives, not just ones in the workplace. I personally know of no other organisation to be so committed to the holistic health and wellbeing of the people involved; including partners and clients.
Every member of the team is encouraged to realise more and more of their potential; to grow and develop to be the best person they can possibly be. I just came back to watching the video of Paul and I wanted to say this means more to me than ever, what he is saying about family and community. You know it's one of the reasons why our work at Lighthouse International is so misunderstood, because we're not selling pre-packaged mentorship programmes or courses. We're helping people to learn what community is, to experience it, to build it - which ought to be at the heart of family. I personally never knew what true family or healthy community was growing up. Everyone need a mentor whether that’s a parent or teacher or uncle or someone they invest in. It’s so so crucial. Every person who succeeds has had someone guiding them.

One of the most important statements here, for the integrity in the process and showing what we really value, is that everyone at Lighthouse is mentored, no matter what level, how long you've been involved or who you have under your care, everyone benefits from the guidance of a mentor to help you keep improving. What it is, why it is so missing in our families, businesses and schools, and the critical importance of receiving it in order to become a whole, rounded, decent, good, affluent and mature human being.
